SATE external wall insulation starts from around €65/m², an aerothermal system with underfloor heating from €8,000, thermally broken aluminium windows from €650 per unit, and an energy certificate from €120. Grant management is included. Quotes are binding, itemised and exclude IGIC.
Well-applied external insulation and efficient glazing can cut cooling (air-conditioning) costs by roughly 30–50%, depending on the property's orientation, current state and how it is used. We model the expected saving during the diagnosis so you can weigh it against the investment.
For the Gran Canaria climate we recommend thermally broken aluminium rather than uPVC. Under the island's intense UV, uPVC frames yellow and can warp within a few years, whereas UV-stable aluminium with a thermal break resists the sun and salt air while still insulating well.
External wall insulation on a typical home usually takes 2–4 weeks depending on the façade area, access and scaffolding, and it is carried out from outside, so you can normally keep using the property while we work.
