A room-by-room apartment renovation
We plan a flat renovation room by room, so every space earns its place. In the bathroom we tank properly, convert baths to walk-in showers and fit zone-rated electrics. Bedrooms get fitted wardrobes, better insulation and quiet, efficient split AC. The living-dining room is where we open up walls and bring in light, often integrating the kitchen for a modern open-plan feel.
Flooring ties the home together, and the island climate shapes the choice: porcelain and stoneware stay cool underfoot and shrug off sun and wear, vinyl (SPC) suits wet areas like bathrooms and kitchens, engineered wood adds warmth in bedrooms, and epoxy resin gives a seamless, hard-wearing finish.
Because the same in-house team handles every trade in every room, the transitions, floor levels, tile lines and skirtings, are consistent throughout, which is exactly what a piecemeal, multi-contractor job never quite achieves.
Renovating from abroad, including inherited flats
A large share of our flat renovations are for owners living in the UK, Ireland or Germany, often after buying a holiday apartment or inheriting a family property they cannot easily attend to.
We run the whole project remotely. If the flat is full of old furniture we clear it first, then survey by video, issue a binding fixed price and start once you approve. Keys come from a neighbour, estate agent or administrador; we coordinate the comunidad and neighbour notices in Spanish; you choose finishes by WhatsApp video with couriered samples.
Each week you get photos, phase progress and budget-versus-actual in English, and we finish with a video handover. Whether you plan to live in it, keep it as a bolt-hole or let it out, you can take it from tired-and-cluttered to finished-and-ready without booking a single flight.

A full flat refurbishment in London runs roughly £1,800–3,500 per square metre. On Gran Canaria a full flat renovation starts from €850/m², a partial refresh from €450/m², and a gut-to-shell job from €1,100/m².
For a typical 80 m2 apartment that difference is substantial, and it is why so many overseas buyers renovate here rather than accept a dated interior. You get the same recognised brands and proper installations, a full rewire to ITC-BT code, tanked bathrooms, quality flooring, for a budget that would barely cover a kitchen and bathroom back home.
If the flat is a holiday let, a quality renovation also lifts nightly rates and reviews, so the works often pay for themselves. Prices shown exclude IGIC (general 7%, reduced 0% or 3% on qualifying primary residences), which we itemise separately.
