Design and build under one roof
The weak point of most interior projects is the handoff: a designer draws a beautiful scheme, then a separate contractor builds something close to it, and the details get lost in translation.
We remove that gap. The team that designs your space is the team that builds it, so the joinery dimensions, the socket that has to sit behind the console, the exact tile alignment and the lighting circuits are all resolved on the same drawings. When something needs a practical tweak on site, the designer and the site manager are the same organisation, not two firms blaming each other.
That is why our renders are a promise rather than a mood picture: what you approve is what gets built, at the fixed price you signed. It also means a single warranty and a single point of contact from first sketch to final styling, whether the project is a family home or a rental that has to photograph well and last.
Working with an interior designer from abroad
You do not need to be in Gran Canaria to design your home here. We brief by video call, then share the moodboard and 3D renders through an online link you can review at your own pace, from your sofa in the UK or Germany.
For materials, we walk you through the showroom on WhatsApp video and courier physical samples so you can judge colour and texture in your own light. Every decision, layout, finishes, furniture, is approved remotely and documented.
If we also build the project, you follow it with weekly photos and budget-versus-actual updates in English, and we finish with a video handover. Owners who bought a holiday apartment or inherited a property regularly complete the entire design-and-build without a single site visit, arriving only to enjoy the finished result.
Design fees: Gran Canaria vs the UK
In the UK, interior designers typically charge either a percentage of the project cost or day rates that add up quickly, on top of a build that itself costs £1,800–3,500 per square metre in London.
On Gran Canaria a design project starts from around €40/m², with a 3D render pack from €300 per room, and because we also build in-house you are not paying two separate firms' margins. The combined design-and-build fixed price is usually a fraction of a comparable UK scheme.
That lets many owners invest the saving where it shows: bespoke joinery, better lighting, solid stone surfaces. Prices shown exclude IGIC, the Canary Islands tax (general 7%, with a reduced 0% or 3% possible on qualifying primary-residence works), which we always set out separately so any comparison with a home-country quote stays honest.
